Please make sure all students have a school hat and sandals from day 1 this term, as well as a top-up of pens and glue sticks. From day 1, week 2, all students must bring a swim cap, togs and towel in a plastic bag every day. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the last part of the holidays! 😊

This term week 7 is our science experiments.
we have already started on our experiments so we can get our results.
Our results that we have received from our experiments have been mind blowing.

Tomorrow (Friday, week 2) is our mufti day for Cook Island Language week, so wear either island costume/dress, (a lavalava will do, for example) or yellow and green. 

Well, the last parents and student have gone for the evening and all of our SLC bookings are done - apart from the 3 who have been no-shows or are yet to book (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE - WE WANT PIZZA SO HURRY UP!!)
A huge thanks to the parents who have come to share what we are doing in D3. Your involvement in your children's school life is so important. Also a huge thank you to my awesome students, who have done me proud while presenting our new timetabling and incentives.

MORE WEIRD SCIENCE!!

W e explored milk - and saw how fat molecules are dissolved by detergent. When we tried it with dfferent types of milk and cream we could see which ones had the most fat in them!!

KIDSCAN!!!!!



WE WERE BLESSED TO RECEIVE JACKETS FROM KIDS CAN!! They keep us warm and we get a sense of belonging. Some of the Warriors came to present them to us. Kids Can also helps us with school shoes and breakfast if we really need it. How Cool!!

SCIENCE!!

In D3 it has been a great and fun start to the new TERM!!

We have been learning and preparing for the SCIENCE FAIR!!

So we learnt about the science methods and experimented!!!

 We used sugar ,boiled water ,and food dye..
We poured different amounts of sugar into our 5 cups and poured the  hot water into the cups.. We then put the food dye in and tipped the cups into a test tube. 

We were blown away by the results!!! We are having an AWESOME time in science!! WE'VE LEARNT HEAPS OF COOL STUFF IN D3!!

So today we watched a Decision Point YouTube message called 'Be A Rebel'. It's about what God want for us and how Jesus was also a rebel. It encourages us to turn away from consumerism and modern culture, and be proud to be Catholic. As we all watch this we learn something from it and what I learned about it was to always love everyone, no matter what. After watching this we all went to write in our Reflection books about what our goal was for today and how we went with our last goal so far.
